Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors consists of local residents committed to helping support softball in the City of Decatur. Board Members are volunteers who serve up to three two-year terms.
Jennifer Dickinson
President
Jen and her husband Andy have lived in Decatur for 20+ years. Their children Layton (DHS 2023) and Kate (DHS 2026 - Softball) have been playing baseball and softball in Decatur since age 5. Through the years, Jen has served in many volunteer roles throughout the community. Professionally, Jen is the Senior Director of Membership for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, a women’s organization with more than 155 collegiate chapters, 155 alumnae associations, and a combined 260,000+ alumnae and collegiate members.
Katie has lived in Decatur for almost 20 years with her daughters, Maggie (DHS 2023 - Softball) and Claire (DHS 2026- Softball). Maggie and Claire both play for Decatur Softball. Katie works for Emory University School of Nursing and also serves on the board for Clairmont Oaks/Briarcliff Oaks. In her free time Katie enjoys cooking and reading.

Jeremy Jeffers
Jeremy moved to Decatur in 2009. He currently lives in Winnona Park with his wife Melanie, daughter Periwinkle (DHS 2026 - Softball), and step-children Sully (DHS/Western Reserve Academy 2025) and Kathleen (DHS 2026). He works as a Content Director at an international Concierge and Loyalty Solutions company. In his spare time, he enjoys playing competitive Scrabble, bocce, and running, as well as watching his kids play sports. Jeremy has also served as a board member locally for the Wylde Center.
Ben Schneider
Ben has lived in Decatur for almost 15 years with his wife and two children. His daughter is a graduate of the Decatur High and its softball program, (DHS 2020 - Softball) and son is student and baseball player at Decatur High as well. He is an energy consultant, sitting on the board of an energy service company and previously served as a board member for Habitat For Humanity, DeKalb County.
Chuck has been actively involved with the Decatur softball program as a coach since he helped start the program in 2000. He is currently an assistant softball coach at Emory University and coaches in the Georgia Impact organization.
Chuck’s four children: Madison, Kendall, Ryan and Mikey have all grown up in the Decatur athletics program.
Chuck is the president of ML2 Solutions, Inc., a printing company. Chuck and Charlotte are the parents of Madison Lewis and started the Madison Lewis Softball and Scholarship Fund in her honor.
